Junior Dispatcher

**Duties**:

- Clear goods through customs and to their destinations for clients.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Manage fleet operations and schedule drivers for pick-up and deliveries.
- Communicate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods.
- Perform data entry tasks to update shipment information in the system.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain communication systems, including phone systems, to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

**Experience**:

- Experience with PARS/ PAPS would be an asset.
- Previous experience working as a dispatcher or in a similar role in the transportation industry is preferred
- Knowledge of fleet management practices and procedures.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6T 1B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- dispatching: 1 year (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)

Work Location: In person
