Athletics and Recreation Coordinator

**Please note**:Occasional evening and weekend hours of work are required. Occasional travel within Edmonton and Alberta are required.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordination of ACAC student-athlete eligibility and compliance.
- Coordination of student-athlete scholarships.
- Coordination of recreation programming for all NAIT students.
- Committee member on department wide initiatives.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to establish strong working relationships both internal and external.
- Highly organized and responsive, keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of the ACAC and CCAA preferred.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum post-secondary diploma. Degree preferred in sport management or recreation.
- 3-5 years’ experience working in post-secondary athletics and recreation is required.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license
- Equivalencies may be considered

**Remuneration**: $2,349.28 - $3,148.35** **plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Coordinator I).
- This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
