**309A Electrical Apprenticeship Opportunity in the Niagara Area**

Day Shift - Monday to Friday (evenings and weekends may be required)

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES**

**_ Duties and Responsibilities_**
- Accurately complete work orders and commission equipment with smart phone and computer
- Demonostrate ability to read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts
- Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues in a clear and concise manner
- Installation/integration of electrical systems to meet electrical safety standards
- Solid knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code
- Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit and electrical apparatus for machines or equipment in new and existing buildings
- Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Other duties as assigned

**_Qualifications and Requirements_**
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Must have excellent organization, analyticak, planning, and troubleshooting skills
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and facilitate customer's requests
- Tenacity and the determination to get things done in a timely manner as a member of a team
- Must own safety boots, hard hat, basic hand tools, and cordless tools
- Self-sufficient, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Safety certified for working in construction (WAH, WHMIS, Workers Health & Safety)
