Position Summary:
Project management is vital for effectively managing complex projects, the major tool for implementing and achieving strategic goals and initiatives in most organizations. Effective project management makes possible rapid innovation and execution, better and more efficient use of firm resources, and increased cross-functional communications. This course covers the technical elements (e.g., scope, schedules, resources, and risk management) and the socio-cultural elements (e.g., leadership, teamwork, politics) needed to become a better project manager.

Qualifications - Required: Doctoral Degree

Qualifications - Discipline: OM/IE or a related field.

Qualifications - Areas of Specialization: Industry experience in project management or research experience in project management preferred. Experience teaching Project Management and the Graduate level preferred.

Qualifications - Professional Designation: Project Management Professional (PMP)
