Accounting Analyst

We are currently recruiting for the role of Accounting Analyst. This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and supports the general accounting and financial functions of ANC through duties such as cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations.

***Responsibilities & Duties**
- Preparation of monthly cost reporting
- Preparation of month-end and year-end journal entries
- Preparation of year-end working papers
- Assist operational divisions with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Financial analysis and special projects
- Communicate and correspond with team members on a daily basis
- Reviewing/updating accounting policies and procedures
- Assist operational divisions with projects approval process
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end journal entries and reports
- Ensure that financial controls are in place and that company policies are followed
- Other duties, as required such as: review contracts, contractor payments, assign stratums, assign conversion rates, review accrual assumptions, and special projects

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Four-year degree in Accounting / Finance / Management
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Actively working towards Accounting designation (CPA)
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Team oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of Internal Controls
