As a swimming instructor, you are the main impression our clients will have with our company. You will provide personalized swim instruction to a variety of different ages and swimming abilities with many swimmers being neurodiverse. After every lesson, you will keep detailed notes about the progress of each swimmer, and provide clear feedback to the swimmer's parents if necessary. You will answer client questions, problem solve concerns and report them to your team lead for further follow-up.

**What will you be doing?**
- Deliver safe and high-quality swimming lessons to our clients
- Minimize safety concerns by eliminating hazards and setting clear rules and expectations
- Arrive at each lesson prepared and on time
- Complete swimmer skills tracking, report cards, and test sheets on time and with care
- Provide clear feedback during and after lessons to parents and swimmers
- Maintain the provided equipment and incorporate it into each lesson

**Qualifications**

All certificates and qualifications must be current or acquired 10 days before your first day of work.
- Lifesaving Society Instructor
- National Lifeguard and Standard First Aid
- Previous instructor experience is a bonus

We are unable to provide sponsorship for applicants who live outside of Canada.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- instructing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- National Lifeguard certificate (required)
