Responsibilities & Skills
- Accompany the congregational singing at the 10 a.m. Sunday Services, as well as special church festivals and other events
- Be an accomplished musician with skills at the keyboard and in choir direction.
- Lead the singing and sing solos
- Plan and hold practices for worship team members (choir)
- Introduce and prepare music offerings to encourage and appeal to all age groups
- Be knowledgeable of, or willing to learn, traditional Anglican music as well as contemporary Christian music.
- Source audio visual media projections to accompany the music.
The building is an architectural jewel in the heart of downtown Alliston. It has excellent acoustics, and a high-quality sound system and audio visual equipement.
The Worship Leader must be a committed Christian, who enjoys people, having fun, and cultivating learning for both older and younger individuals.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $149.00-$150.00 per week
