**Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, and maintaining inventories of materials
- Maintains warehouse organization and cleanliness and provides support in the planning of the warehouse layout
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
- Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
- Follow up with packers to improve efficiency thereby improving daily order accuracy
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a warehouse supervisor and/or managing people
- Completion of post secondary education; warehouse apprentice work is an asset
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
**Work Environment**
The warehouse supervisor typically works in the warehouse environment but may require some office work, depending on the day. The physical demands of this job may include occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
**Hours, Salary, and Benefit**
- Typical working hours will be from 6am to 2:30pm, but will change depending on the day and business needs
- Salary with sick pay, STAT pay, bonus, and accrued vacation payout
- Extended health care, dental care, vision care, life, and disability insurance and group RRSP plan, upon completion of six months. Also provided with boot allowance after 6 months of employment.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
