As a member of our Equipment, Shops & Yards group, you will support our various project divisions with their equipment needs to ensure the successful execution of projects; while also meeting business and unit holder objectives. We own and operate a diverse fleet of operated, non-operated and dedicated specialty equipment and assets. Our overall objective within our team is to be operations first call for anything equipment related at Graham.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Corporate Equipment Business Manager, the Disposal Specialist is responsible for liaising with the various Yard management groups in order to identify under-utilized and excess equipment across the business. In doing so developing strategies to sell the equipment in a timely and economic matter by leading the marketing, logistics, price negotiations efforts through to finally tracking the proceeds.

**As a Disposal Specialist at Graham, you will**:

- Assist in leading the optimization of the Graham fleet through identifying under-utilized and under-performing equipment
- Conduct regular meetings & audits with yard management to review fleet conduction, and disposal opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with auction houses, and potential buyers
- Evaluate fleet financial performance & utilization. Make recommendation to management on strategy
- Negotiate top price for Graham’s equipment
- Ad hoc reporting to management on FMV’s, market trends, gain/loss on sale, auction results.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Minimum high school diploma with completion of a diploma training program at a college or technical school
- Red Seal / Journeyman certification
- A minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience in a fleet/equipment related role
- Be able to initiate action and provide solutions within the division.
- Mechanical certification would be an asset
