Your job duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in implementing processing engineering technical policies and procedures
- Assess opportunities to improve technical operational processes and efficiencies
- Inspect, review, and monitor operational equipment, operational conditions, operating procedures, production processes, and health and safety practices for recommended improvements
- Assess and recommend production equipment, production process and operating procedure improvements to maximize production rates, operational efficiency, product quality, and safety, and minimize downtime, cost, energy utilization, waste, and environmental impact
- Establish, monitor, and maintain performance measures, logs, metrics, and records for all relevant feedstock transfer, production process, and production control processes
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation or action plans and projects (in conjunction with Operations and Engineering) to resolve immediate and long-term production issues/problems
- Assist with special engineering projects and other project-related responsibilities as directed
- Coordinate with team members on product development runs, yield trails and other process improvement exercises
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned

**Wages and Benefits**

Successful applicants will be paid $33.65 per hour, for 40 hours of work per week. **Work Experience and Qualifications**

Completion of a power or chemical engineering technology diploma, or equivalent, is required. The successful applicant must also have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform physical labour, operate basic mechanical tools safely and efficiently, the ability to work outdoors, and the ability to climb flights of stairs and work at heights on a regular basis.
