Ignite Group Fitness Trainer

Winnipeg, Canada Ignite Cycle & Strength Full time

Ignite Cycle & Strength is looking for a high energy, personable and knowledgeable group fitness instructor to lead our morning (9:30 AM) and midday (12:15 PM) group strength circuit classes. At Ignite, our trainers act as fitness resources for our class participants and maintain positive relationships with members to develop strong community bonds.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining group circuit classes.
- Educate class participants about correct form and alternative moves during the fitness class.
- Attentively listens to members, answers questions, and engage with them in conversation, before and after classes.
- Organize the studio space after each group fitness class.

Position requirements:

- High school diploma
- One or more years of fitness instructor work experience
- CPR/AED certification
- A recognized group exercise certification that is current.
- Ability to demonstrate all exercises specific to the assigned classes.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms strongly encouraged

Part Time: 4-5 classes/ week

**Salary**: $40-50/ class

- group fitness training: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Personal Trainer (preferred)

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-01-30
