**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing systems and accessories.
- Thoroughly inspect cast iron pipes next to domestic risers and throughout the tower.
- Skillfully replace cast iron systems to ensure optimal plumbing functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, and specifications to determine the design/layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
- Conduct drywall demolition as required to access plumbing infrastructure
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and wall and floor fittings using measuring tools like levels and plumb bobs.
- Cut and bore holes in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread and connect pipes using hand and power tools or machines, such as pipe cutters, benders, and threading machines.
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment, according to the specifications and requirements of the plumbing system.
- Check pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges and other specialized testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot plumbing system problems and identify appropriate solutions.
- Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties
- Performs other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of working experience as a Plumber
- Proven experience in inspecting and replacing cast iron plumbing systems.
- Red Seal or working towards Red Seal certificate
- Knowledge of Federal/Provincial building codes.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day working in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms
- Must be able to climb scaffoldings.
