B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has three operating gold mines and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, the Philippines, Namibia, Colombia, Finland and Uzbekistan. This year, B2Gold forecasts gold production to be 990,000 - 1,050,000 ounces.

Treasury Assistant - 16 Month Term

**Introduction**

**Location**

This position will be based at B2Gold Corporate Office in Vancouver, Canada with a flexible work arrangement option available.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Update and maintain certain treasury spreadsheets ensuring accuracy and timeliness of upkeep;
- Prepare monthly accounting statements and bank account reconciliations;
- Back office liaison with bullion refineries, banks and commodities settlement teams;
- Prepare offshore invoices;
- Prepare and send treasury letters for cash calls, bullion sales transfers, wire payments, etc.;
- Review wire payment templates;
- Maintain distribution lists for banking and internal contacts;
- Assist with audit requests, due diligence/KYC requests from banks and account openings/closings documentation;
- Treasury analysis work and treasury filing, as required; and
- Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.

**Required Qualifications/Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar field from an accredited university or college;
- Minimum of two years of Treasury related experience, preferably in the mining industry;
- Advanced level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and customer service skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both independently with minimum supervision and collaboratively in a group setting;
- Be able to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines;
- Motivated to learn with a passion for delivering high quality service;
- The ability to understand/maintain confidentiality, strong work ethic, with a team-player mindset are imperative attributes;
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
