**Position Description**:
**Psychologist, PhD - Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) Program, Lotus Health**
- The Hospital for Sick Children is a leading tertiary paediatric centre providing medical and mental health care to the most complex children and youth and their families. - Working from a healing-focused, trauma-informed, strengths-based, developmentally-sensitive, anti-racist, anti-oppressive perspective.
- Providing clinical supervision and consultation.
- Providing crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and safety plans.
- Providing comprehensive clinical case formulation and individually-tailored trauma treatment.
- Providing advocacy for linkages with internal subspecialties and community resources.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary health care team and community partner agencies.

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Completion of a CPA/APA recognized PhD degree program in Clinical or Health Psychology is required with a paediatric/developmental focus.
- Related experience in paediatric clinical-health psychology setting.
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario for autonomous practice.
- Experience in providing clinical supervision for Ph.D.level psychology trainees is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
- Knowledge and skill in trauma-focused assessment and treatment modalities.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment focused on patient and family-centred care and services, innovation, and quality improvement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong clinical research skills.
- Ability to work effectively and independently as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to equitable, inclusive, and anti-oppressive practice with diverse populations.
- Experience working in a health science hospital environment is a strong asset.

**Employment Type: 0.6 FTE (3 days per week), 11-month contract with possibility of renewal**
