The Daniels Corporation is actively searching for a **Finishing Superintendent **who will oversee and manage all finishing construction activities on site. Reporting directly to the General Site Superintendent, the Finishing Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that finishing work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.

**Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Supervise team members and contractors to ensure the effective execution of project plans and schedules within budget and quality standards
- Oversee procurement and delivery of finishing material
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of finishing works
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards for finishing are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of finishing activities including progress reports, inspections and relevant documentation
- Communicate effectively with the project team to discuss errors, discrepancies or omissions contained within the design drawings
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution
- Expected to perform physical labour from time to time, as necessary, to complete work efficiently
- Control and monitor labour, material and equipment expenses
- Maintain a safe, organized and clean job site compliant with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation for Construction Projects

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary school degree or diploma in a construction related area of study
- Minimum of eight to ten years of direct work experience with a focus on high-rise residential construction
- Current and up to date Health & Safety certifications
- Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and legislation in relation to the construction industry, specifically high-rise residential construction
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and related building codes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
