Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Cut and shape materials to required sizes using hand and power tools
- Assemble and secure materials to create structures and fixtures
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Repair and replace damaged structures and fixtures
- Ensure work is performed in a safe and efficient manner
- Collaborate with other trades and professionals as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and their proper use
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality control standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Must have own transportation to and from job site

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
