The Department of Medicine works closely with academic hospitals, the Southwest Local health Integrated Network and community physicians and partners to achieve accessible and sustainable healthcare for all.

**Responsibilities**:
The Research Assistant will be responsible for the following activities:

- Obtaining safety confirmation from Site Investigator
- Obtaining prescriptions, or prescribing denosumab to participant (if applicable)
- Ordering study drug from the pharmacy to the unit, ensuring drug is stored in the unit prior to intervention visit
- Ensuring intervention is administered within the required timeframe
- Unanticipated event response and data submission to Principal Investigator within the required timeframe
- Responsible for completing data collection and submitting to Central study team
- Participate in remote Site Monitor Quality Visit when required

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant area of focus

**Experience**:
- 1 year of work experience supporting research in a related technical field

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work
- Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public
- Ability to collect data in an objective manner
- Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing research
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve study objectives
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document technical information
