**Your Opportunity**:
This positions primary focus provides comprehensive assessment to clients receiving service within the Early Psychosis Intervention Program. This position’s secondary focus is to provide individual and group therapy as well as support in the development and implementation of group therapy. The Psychologist II will provide advanced clinical services, consultation and education to the interprofessional team and patients/families, and/or provides clinical leadership and coordination. The Psychology II is an advanced level psychology position that will work within teams to provide and inform services for patients with complex and multi-dimensional medical, psychological, interpersonal, environmental and/or instrumental needs. The Psychologist functions as part of an ambulatory outpatient multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in addiction and mental health programs. The Psychologist will communicate with families, physicians, community agencies and other related services and resources in identifying needs for the patient. The Psychologist role supports student learning opportunities and also includes supporting quality improvement for the program via processes and workflow development. It also requires collaboration to enact initiatives in order to ensure that practices are evidence based and in alignment with psychology standards of practice, code of ethics, policy, legislation and regulations. They will be expected to lead, facilitate and/or participate in programing, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement and evaluation, and/or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s). They may provide supervision to doctoral level psychology residents, master's level interns, provisional psychologists, psychometrists and other team members.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 3 years working within Adult Addiction and Mental Health. Proficiency with comprehensive assessments as well, individual and group therapy. Demonstrated understanding of all Addiction and Mental Health Calgary Zone programs and Outpatient Service Re-design standards/required framework. Demonstrated proficiency with individual and family therapy. Demonstrated ability to manage a case list and work within tight timeframes. Demonstrated ability to work on a team. Proficiency with both CBT and DBT therapy modalities. Demonstrated time management abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Additional training in Cognitive and Personality Assessments (i.e., MCCB) considered an asset. Experience with Adolescents/Emerging Adult population considered an asset.
