**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

We are looking for a Social Media Associate, TikTok to join our Social team in creating fun and engaging content and finding innovative ways to engage with our audience on social media platforms.

This is a hybrid position, based out of our **Toronto **Head Office.

**WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE**
- Support the Social Media Manager and the Social Media Associate Manager in content creation and development alongside Creative team
- Assist managing community management accounts within (but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Stay up to date with DECIEM’s product knowledge, company information, launches and campaigns
- Engage, maintain and develop professional relations with customers
- Maintain and administer the brand voice throughout all communications
- Assist with customer queries across all platforms
- Coordinate Social Media Campaigns as required
- Adhere to company policies, social media rules and regulations
- Stay on top of social media trends and pitch ideas to increase engagement
- Help to develop and maintain our social media content calendar
- Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform)
- Monitor and report on trending videos and audios on TikTok to assist in content creation and development
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE**
- Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform) is required
- A love for creating content, comfortable speaking to the camera and livestreaming is required
- Knowledge in current events and pop culture
- Knowledge and proficiency in all current social platforms
- Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of SEO / Marketing tools is an asset
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both oral and written and ability to work with all levels of staff and
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, etc.)
- Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in in social media or in a similar field is an asset
- BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations is an asset
