Junior Carpenter

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's hand tools and power tools.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
