**Job description**
Southern Aero Aviation is currently seeking a Ramp Attendant for 30-35 hours per week. The position is for our 4 on 4 off AM shift (7-9 hour shift starting at 5 am). Flights are ramping back up and we're excited to get back to regular business
**Summary**:
This is a customer service/technical position that is responsible for supporting all ground operations for inbound and outbound aircraft, flight crews and passengers. It requires the following: good decision-making skills, the ability to follow company procedures; flexibility in a dynamic working environment; as well as possess good interpersonal skills.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Marshall aircraft and ensure aircraft are chocked and secured
- Load/unload baggage
- Operate ground support equipment
- Deice Aircraft
- Other duties and tasks as required
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives
- Ability to work without direct management supervision
- Must be comfortable with working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including holidays, mornings, nights, and weekends as scheduled
- Able to provide a criminal record check and driver's abstract (doesn't need to be flawless)
**Physical Requirements**:
- Lift baggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft, up to 75lbs
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
**Benefit package available after 3 months of employment**
