Production Controller Administrator

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning: - Set up new jobs and amend current jobs.

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient workflow.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.

Scheduling: - Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on order requirements, machine availability, and workforce capacity.

Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, machine downtime, or other disruptions.

Coordination: - Collaborate with production supervisors, machine operators, and other departments to ensure alignment on production goals and deadlines.

Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders promptly.

Data Management: - Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, production logs, and inventory reports.

Utilize production control software (Job Boss) to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Print job travelers and PDF drawings.

Quality Control: - Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that production processes meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Identify and address any production issues that may affect product quality or delivery schedules.

Continuous Improvement: - Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

Compliance: - Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Manufacturing Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production control or planning role within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with production control software systems.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:

- Work is performed in a machine shop environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and other

hazards. Appropriate safety measures and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required.
- Full-time position with standard working hours.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$62,400.00 per year
