**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

Alstom Services platform offers a wide range of business solutions for Rolling Stocks (train, metro, tramway ), Signalling and Infrastructure products: maintenance, modernization, technical support and parts services.

Several solutions are being implemented to optimize Alstom Service business processes and provide services to customers: maintenance management system, service execution system, maintenance documentation, dashboards, eCommerce for spare parts, customer web portal, eLogbook, maintenance planning optimizationbased on technologies such as SAP, Salesforce, Apriso, Anaplan, Arbortext, QlikSense, Maximo a.s.o

The IS&T (Information System & Technology) Service team supports the maintenance business on several processes: warranty, maintenance and service execution. One major role of the team is to design, deliver and support Maintenance Management System based on Maximo technology to Alstom projects worldwide.

The Maximo functional expert role is to design functional solutions based on requirements from the business and ensure those are aligned with Alstom Maximo core model rules. He / She will need to interact with internal and external stakeholders in order to respond to our increased number of MMS deployments.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a Maximo functional expert, you are in charge of:

- Contribute to improvement of Alstom Maximo Core Model
- Support BPO’s in the requirements gathering phase
- Analyze the business requirements to convert those to functional Maximo processes
- lead workshop sessions with the business points of contact and the various technical specialists
- Work with the technical specialists to ensure the functional requirements are properly transformed to technical solutions
- Support architect and project managers in the projects scope preparation
- Prepare scenario’s and execute end to end testing of the solutions to ensure compliance with the functional requirements
- Support the business in the execution of the user approval tests
- Ensuring that Maximo Core Model (processes & rules) is well documented, evolves consistently and is not jeopardized by localization
- Interacting with Operations teams by providing functional expertise when needed

In order to be able to execute all the responsibilities’ above, you will be working with our external partners. In addition, you will be constantly liaising between partners and local business to drive the different projects successfully. When it comes to our applicative landscape, you will be working not only with partners and business but also with other IS&T teams in other pillars. Your functional expertise will be needed to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time.

Your Functional scope contains following business processes: Warranty management, configuration management, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, Service execution, Repair to stock, Stock management

You are action-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are a self-starter and result oriented person. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must because you will need to work autonomously in a worldwide & multicultural environment. You should be agile to handle multiple tasks efficiently, keeping the big picture, and effectively delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

It is paramount you show leadership and autonomy in the delivery of the tasks assigned to you. You take the responsibility of your deliverables and take the accountability end to end.

You are comfortable animating workshops; you can stimulate the discussions among the participants and you know how to identify the requirements from those exhanges.

You are excited by new topics and chalenges and are not afraid to ask questions when you need to.

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE**
- 8 years of experience of Maximo functional analysis and solution design
- Very good knowledge of Maximo 7.6
- Knowledge of ACM and Transportation industry solutions is a plus
- Knowledge of Maintenance processes like configuration management, corrective
- Language skills: English expertise is a must both spoken and written
- Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology
- Capacity to transform requirements into Maximo solutions and document those in clear way for the technical specialists to deliver
