The Group is active in all segments of the aerospace industry (commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft), in two areas of activity: Aerostructures and Interconnection Systems. The Group employs over 5,000 people in 14 countries.

In November 2022, Latecoere completed the acquisition of Canadian-domiciled Avcorp Industries, becoming Latecoere’s Aerostructures Canadian unit.

**Job Overview**:
**Primary Responsibilities**

1. Financial Modeling and Decision Support:

- Provide financial modeling, business case analysis, and management reporting to drive business results and strategic decisions.
- Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions and opportunities, advising management to support targeted financial performance.

2. Cost Analysis and Operational Insights:

- Oversee plant costing activities, including material, labor, and overhead standards.
- Evaluate cost of sales and related variances, ensuring accuracy and understanding of underlying causes.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and prepare models for special projects such as free cash flow analysis.

3. Proposal and Bid Support:

- Develop complex valuation models to prepare detailed bids for new programs and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for bid pricing, ensuring alignment with both commercial and defense contract standards.

4. Operational Performance and Budgeting:

- Gather, compile, and analyze sales, material, labor, and overhead data for budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Partner with Program Managers to prepare detailed monthly sales and spending forecasts, integrating financial and technical aspects of designated programs.

5. Financial Reporting and Analytics:

- Provide effective and timely financial information and insights to support corporate leaders in executing strategies and operating plans.
- Support the monthly closing process, including sales analysis, and gross margin evaluation.

6. Collaboration and Strategic Input:

- Participate in economic decisions to optimize profitability.
- Support senior management with reports, providing value-added financial information to Program Managers on material costs, labor efficiency, and support hours.

7. Process Improvement and Compliance:

- Identify process improvement opportunities related to costing, budgeting, and financial analysis. Familiarity with FAR Costing Methodology is a plus.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, FAR regulations, and other relevant industry standards.

8. Challenging the Status Quo:

- Actively challenge current processes and systems, proposing enhancements that improve data integrity, reporting speed, and decision-making accuracy.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or Engineering.
- 5+ years of finance, costing, or pricing experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.
- Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing and progressive financial analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to management and cross-functional teams.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation (a plus).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and meet strict deadlines.

In an effort to encourage work-life balance, Latecoere staff members work a 9-day fortnight schedule, receiving every second Friday off.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
