**Summary**

Zest Communities / St. Elizabeth Village is looking for individuals to build and maintain gardens, parks, and other outdoor landscapes. Duties include ensuring plant growth, cleaning outdoor facilities, lawn care, and trimming shrubs etc. This position will act as support for maintenance, landscaping, and other support staff.

**Responsibilities**
- Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns.
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds
- Trimming small trees, hedges, and shrubs
- Removing unwanted, dead, or damaged trees
- Planting shrubs, flowers, and trees
- Watering gardens, lawns, and landscapes
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health.
- Ensure exterior property is kept in a safe and attractive manner.
- Complete and submit required daily paperwork.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and efficiently, and in compliance with government and company.
- Follow all PPE standards as well as local health and safety laws and regulations
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
- Collect waste and ensure proper waste management procedures are carried out.
- Maintain overall condition of the buildings and grounds, ensuring all debris is removed and site is kept in attractive manner.
- Perform inspection of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately taken care of or reported appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to deal with fast paced environment

**Requirements**:

- Vulnerable Sector Police Screening
- Covid-19 vaccination proof
- College/University student
- Min. of 1 years experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role
- preferred
- Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good stamina and physical health
- Ability to read, write, speak English
