Sharepoint Consultant

**Job Duties/Core Skills**
- Build of a new SharePoint (SP) 2019 farm (“FARM”)
- a. Setup and configuration of set of SP 2019 servers
- b. Migrate existing 2010 SP farm root site
- c. Include all active/running SP services (e.g. metadata, document indexing etc.)

Migration of specific SP sites from existing 2010 SP farm to the new 2019 SP farm (“MIGRATION”)
- services (AD auth, SQL)
- Infopath 2010 to nintex forms 2019
- Nintex workflow 2010 to nintex workflow 2019
- list to list
- use ShareGate as primary tool for migration
- Different Migration Strategies
- Advise of required SP accounts and credentials
- Advise of required SQL accounts and database name(s)
- Define the required server resources (CPU, RAM, Disk size/performance type) for the 3 VM’s
- Should be able to do data migration
- Create documentation for SP object, workflow and details for each site
- Testing and validation
- UAT coordination
- Latest Microsoft SP 2019 installation media
- SP FARM installation
- How to perform root site set up
- Verify patches and know how to install patches accordingly.
- Good understanding of scope Management

**Essential Skills**:

- 5+ years of experience in similar roles
- Capabilities to identify and analyze problems logically and systematically
- Strong communication skill, must able to articulate technical issues in a meaningful way to both engineers and executive level management
- Ability to Train/manage junior staff

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $40.00-$100.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ajax, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- PowerShell Scripting: 3 years (preferred)
- Sharepoint migration tools: 3 years (preferred)
- Office365: 3 years (preferred)
- hybrid SharePoint Environment: 3 years (preferred)
- designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint farms: 4 years (preferred)
- planning, executing site migrations: 3 years (preferred)
- migration content, permissions, and configurations: 3 years (preferred)
