Maintenance - Cleaner - Heavy Duty

**Job Title**: Heavy Duty Cleaner

**Location**: Toronto, ON

**Wage**: $17-18/hour

**Shift**: 6:00pm - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a cleaner with a passion for a clean space This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning and scrubbing building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, glass/window cleaning, blinds, partitions, light switches & window sills
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Have the driver license and a vehicle
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
