Solar Pv Installer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar panel systems. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and experience working with various tools and equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties
- Perform site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar panels
- Assist with the assembly and mounting of solar panels, racking systems, and other components
- Assist with electrical wiring and connections for solar panel systems
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure proper installation and functionality
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in solar installation or related field is a must
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to work with hand tools
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems is a plus
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, backhoes, or bucket loaders is a plus
- Ability to weld or perform basic rigging tasks is a plus

**Requirements**:

- Must be comfortable working at heights.
- Existing knowledge of on and off grid renewable energy systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Valid driver's license

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
