**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of Architectural Specifications - Québec and Atlantic, the Architectural Specifications Representative - ICI works in a team that creates and supports sales growth by increasing the value of Vicwest products in the marketplace. This is achieved by building and maintaining relationships with the architectural and design community as well as designers and specifiers. We also provide technical expertise and ongoing training with the aim of creating demand and increasing specifications on commercial, institutional, and industrial projects to achieve the region’s growth objectives.
This position requires regular travel 70% of the time within the assigned region.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Supporting the industrial, commercial, and institutional projects in the assigned territory through training, collaboration, and provision of appropriate solutions based on Vicwest’s product specifications versus the competition’s offering.
- Networking actively, and face-to-face, with the specifiers, architects, and designers by offering new and relevant projects to increase the visibility of Vicwest’s products on the market and to strengthen brand awareness.
- Providing technical training to customers and new members of the Vicwest sales team.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in the steel, architectural panel, insulated metal panel or construction industry.
- Experience collaborating with architects, designers, and prescribers.
- Capability to read blueprints and understand architectural drawings.
- Good communicator with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform in high-pressure situations.
- Team player who can easily adapt to change.
- Capacity to focus on the desired targets and to set goals as well as action plans.
- Capability to set priorities, work independently, and effectively manage feedback and expectations.
- Familiar with CRM systems.
- Capacity to develop knowledge about multiple products and keep abreast of trends.
- Focus on results and action.
- Ability to travel regularly in the region.
- Valid driver’s licence.
