**POSITION OVERVIEW**

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Finance
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliation and General Ledger
- Month-end procedures: Accruals, Adjusting entries, etc.
- Monthly financial reporting: Monthly Financial Statements, Budget vs actual variance analysis, Financial Statement analysis, Costing Analysis, Sales commissions, Customer rebates, Co-op reporting and analysis.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Payroll.
- Credit control.
- Costing and Price list management.
- IT Systems, business processes, and internal control systems.
- Government remittances.
- Management
- Supervise accounting and customer service departments.
- Ensuring smooth workflow in all departments.
- Human Resources: Hiring, on-boarding, training and management of personnel.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE**

**Technical Skills and Experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls.
- Good understanding of a manufacturing environment and related costing.
- Strong interpersonal and management skills.
- Knowledge & experience of ERP accounting/finance systems, preferably Sage 300.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- CPA title is desirable.
