Full time, Temporary (until November)

We are a small farm working 1 acre of land as a no spray market garden. Looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about farming and food.

**Tasks will include**:

- Harvesting and washing vegetables
- Preparing land and planting
- Watering
- Weeding
- General maintenance and cleaning of working areas

**Skills**:

- Works well in indoor /outdoor conditions (heat, cold, humidity, precipitation, sun exposure)
- Good work ethic
- Good time management skills
- Ability to preform heavy lifting when necessary
- Is comfortable working independently

Requirements of the grant are as follow:

- The employee is between the ages of 15 and 30 (inclusive) at the project start date
- The employee is unemployed or underemployed
- The employee is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or a status refugee under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- The employee does not receive Employment Insurance (EI) during the project period

Pay: $17.00 per hour
