Production Electrical Assembler

Job description

Sirius Controls is a progressive and rapidly growing company that is well positioned in the manufacturing industry. We are looking to add a self-motivated and capable member to join our Production team.

We have an immediate full-time opening for an Electrical Assembler in our Edmonton facility. The Electrical Assembler is part of our production team and is responsible for assembling various electrical components of a systems.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Assembling electrical and mechanical components.
- Assemble batteries, attaching hardware, switches, or other parts.
- Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment.
- Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards.
- Assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars.
- Ensure proper soldering and installation of electric wiring.
- Route or connect wires between components, connectors and terminals.
- Complete all production and quality control documentation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments to test equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in work area and adhere to occupational health and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong work ethic, high degree of enthusiasm.
- 3 - 5 year’s previous experience as an electrical wiring.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Experience in assembling components.
