**About this opportunity**:
The **Student Intern, Information Security**, will work closely with the Global Information Security team to assist with formalizing security activities and related documentation.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Ability to work effectively with staff, vendors, and within cross-functional teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to be a team player
- Ability to efficiently learn a variety of new skills and take initiative
- Ability to interpret security activities into meaningful procedural documentation
- Experience with information security solutions and software products
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Scripting skills, integration knowledge, and/or data analysis is considered an asset

**Activities**:

- Assist team members with various security solution management and monitoring as required
- Participate in security solution development and testing
- Identify opportunities for potential new solutions based on observations of activities and solutions already in place
- Team website development/maintenance
- Create and deliver follow-up communications to various teams for security findings/reports and/or incidents
- Participate in project management and risk management activities
- Having fun while learning more about information security and what it means in a real world environment

**Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include**:

- Duties of this position are performed in an office setting with exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
- Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
