Barback

We are looking for an observant, efficient barback who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The bar back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly. You must have experience working in the service industry. We expect our barbacks to support our bar team and the overall success of the Outpost. We are looking for someone that is reliable, energetic and with customer service skills. Must have a smart serve certificate.

**Bartender Duties and Responsibilities**
- Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, or changing out kegs, if needed.
- Take out empty bottles and kegs
- Monitor all patrons for alcoholic intake and notify a manager if you think someone is over the limits
- Bathroom and floor checks to ensure the Outpost is at our cleanliness standards
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Keep bar area clean, safe and organized
- Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be reliable with strong communication and time management skills
- SMART Serve
- 1+ years of experience working in the service industry
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be available evenings and sometimes as late as 2:30am

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
