Brewery Assistant

Ridge Rock Brewing Company was founded in 2018 by four local residents looking to bring something special to Carp in this historic and iconic building built in 1893. Our brewhouse is a Canadian made 15-barrel steam heated system. We use only the best local ingredients available to brew down-to-earth beers that everyone can enjoy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, while complying with agreed upon procedures, regulations and safety standards
- Lift raw materials finished products and packed items manually or using hoists.
- Examine products to verify conformity to quality standards are met
- Learn, understand and operate the keg washer or perform keg filling as per the standard operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous relevant experience of 1+ year’s preferred/Previous Brewing experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up-to 50lbs assisted and 20lbs unassisted
- A love of craft beer and a desire to learn more about it
- Attention to detail with good time management skills
- Good physical condition to meet the physical demands of the position
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexible schedule to meet production demands

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

- Carp, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
