The Makeup Artistry Educator is responsible for facilitating theory and practical knowledge of makeup artistry as well as developing the growth of full time, part time and on-demand students of The Style Academy, while representing the school as a professional leader in education.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitation Duties
Research and prepare daily structured lessons guided by the curriculum set forth by the Education Program Coordinator, which includes: necessary industry updates to theory and practical knowledge; inspiring artistry features; student opportunities, competitions and scholarships; tradeshows and pro events.

Facilitate theory content as per the curriculum schedule provided by Education Program Coordinator

Direct, time, and keep track of students in practical rotations to guide their skill growth, allowing each student equal and adequate time for practice

Grade, write feedback, and record marks for all quizzes, unit tests, practical exams, assignments and final theory and practical exams, in a timely manner, reporting grades back to Education Program Coordinator

Review theory and practical tests with students and address any misunderstood concepts

Student Growth
Give consistent and constructive feedback during practical work to guide student growth

Monitor student progress and provide evaluations to honour their strengths and address their opportunities

Review images from (3) practical exam photoshoots with students to give constructive feedback to foster their progress in photographic makeup and professional set etiquette

Provide assistance during student client services to troubleshoot errors in technique, client concern.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
