**About the Role**:
Heritage Family Services is hiring passionate and dedicated Child and Youth Care Workers to provide overnight care for youth in a supportive, trauma-informed environment. We are seeking individuals who are organized, responsible, and compassionate, with a strong ability to connect with youth and help create a safe, stable, and nurturing space. Hours of Work - Schedule (3 on 3 off 12 hour shifts)

**Key Responsibilities**:
Build trusting, respectful relationships with youth in your care.

Provide overnight supervision and maintain a safe, calm environment.

Follow established care plans and protocols to support youth well-being.

Respond appropriately to behavioral situations while maintaining a trauma-informed approach.

Communicate effectively with team members and document incidents as required.

Demonstrate respect for diverse backgrounds, including cultural traditions, gender identities, and experiences.

**Qualifications**:
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Post-secondary education (or active enrollment) in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is an asset.

Ability to obtain:
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Child Intervention Check.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract (less than 6 demerits).

Awareness of Indigenous traditions and commitment to culturally sensitive care.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse groups.
