Regulated Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacie Nipissing Pharmacy is an independently owned community pharmacy. We are located at 26 Principale St E in Verner. We pride ourselves on friendly and personalized prescription and health services.

We are currently looking for an experienced Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

General responsibilities include:

- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry into Pharmaclik Rx
- Third Party adjudication and managing of billing issues as they arise
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- General over the counter inquiries from patients and referral to the Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Checking compliance packaging
- Assisting with compounding prescriptions, including maintenance of compounding records and standard operating procedures
- Vaccinations (Flushots)

Requirements for the job:

- Registered and in good standing with the corresponding provincial licensing college
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician is an asset;
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation;
- Strong communication skills (Bilingualism in French is an asset)
- Strong motivation to succeed
- Proficient computer/data/ entry skills
- PharmaclikRx is an asset
- Compounding experience/training is an asset
- Vaccination training is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
