**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

This Regional Business Consultant will coach business processes that improve profitability, increase market share and brand experience, consult franchisees on business owner decisions, and collaborate with all franchisor team members to increase brand equity. The role will be responsible for developing and executing and holding the franchisee’s accountable for the goals of the business plan for the specific region. This position is instrumental to the success of our franchises and, in turn, the success of our company. The Regional Business Consultant is responsible for the growth, quality, and profitability of their franchises (District 12A and 12B) through strategic planning, business consulting, coaching and dissemination of best practices.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Primary point of contact between franchisee and franchisor
- Provide coaching, business advice and consultation ongoing
- Problem solving key business drivers and restrainers regarding Operations, Sales, Marketing, People and all areas of the business
- Identify and address non-compliance to Mandatory Operating Requirements (MOR’s)
- Developing and driving program adoption with your group of franchisees
- Demonstrate and provide value from the franchisor to the franchisees and their teams
- Investigate, prepare and present CSI warranty and job completion claims to the Executive Finance Committee
- Facilitate the wind down of closing franchises to limit the exposure to the brand
- Assist in the implementation and effective delivery of national insurance company programs
- Position requires travel - typically 1 or 2 weeks a month to all regions of Canada and periodically the US
- Responsible for 30-40 franchisees
- Understands the services and products offered by Paul Davis Restoration
- Assists in marketing initiatives and communicates regularly with the Regional Vice President of Operations Canada
- Analyzes and recommends programs and procedures that are in the best interest of all parties
- All other duties as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & SKILLS**
- Sales experience with demonstrated negotiation and marketing skills
- General knowledge of the Insurance industry/claims
- Obtains necessary industry trade certifications

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Sales experience 5+ years a plus
- Restoration and or insurance or commercial/ facility sales experience a plus

**PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Sales experience 10+ years a plus
- Experience in the restoration industry regarding water mitigation, mold remediation, lead and asbestos abatement, contents cleaning, contents packing, structure cleaning, and reconstruction.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT**
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 100% of the time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, fax machine, copy machine, and computer printer.
