EHS Specialist

**Responsibilities**

1. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO45001

2. Responsible to maintain and continually improve the EHS management system encompassing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Also responsible for establishing, implementing, and the ongoing commitment to review and improve the effectiveness of EHS MS at a company level.

4. Responsible for preparing Audit Reports for Management Review, and maintaining the Internal Audit Schedule and scheduling follow-up audit activities.

5. Maintain the master electronic copy of all Job Description, Individual and Company Training Plans, Training Records, HSE certificates and licenses and Employee Files and Documentation.

7. Responsible for W.H.M.I.S./Health & Safety Overview training for all employees and ensuring all new requirements are incorporated into kristoFOAM's health, safety, and environmental practices and procedures and maintaining updates on new legislation

8. Responsible for scheduling regular Health and Safety workplace inspections and meetings and keeping all the required documents of the meeting. Coordinating JHSC meetings as an active member.

9. Responsible for performing regular workplace inspections, assist in the accident/incident investigations, taking a lead in risk assessment of hazards, identifying control measures for observed hazards, conducting safety talks with all staff.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources/Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources/Health & Safety Experience
- Good Communication and Computer Skills
- Must have knowledge of Government of Ontario Rules and Regulations
- W.H.M.I.S Training
- Member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee or knowledge of JHSC

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
