Elevate Wellness is a manufacturer of premium natural health and cannabis products located in Port Coquitlam BC.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The primary responsibility of the Production Supervisor is to oversee all aspects of daily production within the plant and ensure that the operational plan is carried out on schedule, and consistent product quality and integrity is maintained during the manufacturing process. This position is responsible to maximize level of operational and quality performance as measured by delivering positive results in production performance, consistent high product quality, quick delivery time, compliance to specifications, customer satisfaction, operational flexibility, and continuous improvement. The position leads and coordinates production staffs in a manner that creates engagement and productivity within the team and the facility.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**
- Organizes, deploys, and measures day-to-day operations. Includes developing resource plans to support weekly production plan; ensuring the production plan is carried out on schedule, and consistent product quality/integrity is manufactured by following SOP in all aspects of production.
- Ensures operations are cost effective through the efficient utilization of assets, inventory, and staff scheduling. Manages controllable elements of cost to attain or exceed budget targets.
- Accurately and on time, completes all required production documentation.
- Responds to routine production issues including troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues when possible or coordinate with other departments or parties to address the issues.
- Works collaboratively and maintains essential communications with other company departments to achieve agreed operational results and contribute to the attainment of overall company goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a team-based work environment by providing leadership, direction, coaching, training, and clear and consistent communication.
- Ensure a respectful, safe, and healthy work environment for production employees.
- Foster safe work practices by enforcing standard safety procedures and as required develop and implement practical recommendations for safety practices.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience in a cannabis or food manufacturing environment with a minimum of 2 years in production supervisory role.
- Strong people orientation balanced with an understanding of business needs.
- Experience working in cannabis processing facility is considered an asset.
- Results orientation with formal training in lean and continuous improvement.
- Highly organized with excellent time management/priority setting skills and knows how to make the right decisions.

Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
