**Manufacturing Technician**

Our continued growth and development has created an opening for a Manufacturing Technician in our Agassiz location.

The Manufacturing Technician reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for The Manufacturing Technician duties include documenting and improving manufacturing processes, the research and development of new equipment and processes, and the implementation of new equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
**Manufacturing Process**
- 6S documentation including work instructions, PAG’s, and forms.
- Maintain and create shop routers.
- Design, development, and manufacturing of jigs and fixtures
- Design, development, and manufacturing of QA gauges
- Maintain shop floor plans

**Research and Development**
- Research new advancements in manufacturing
- Robotics and automation testing and implementation
- Test new welding advancements and qualify welding processes.
- Work cell design and build
- Working with shop floor staff research new and innovative solutions to improve existing processes, improve workflow and work cell layouts.

**Other**
- Assist in special projects, new machine purchases, and implementation plans

**Education**:

- High School Graduation or equivalent

**Experience, Skills & Abilities**
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Welding and fabrication
- Lean manufacturing and tools associated to Lean.
- 3D Modeling
- 3D Printing
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
