**The Position**:

This is an ideal role for someone who never gets tired of learning and pushing their limits and is interested in joining a family of like-minded artists.

**Duties**:

- Serve as the lead photographer at various wedding events throughout the Barrie, Ontario area.
- Capture high-quality, captivating images that effectively tell the story of each couple’s special day.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and couples to understand specific photographic needs and preferences.
- Manage the photographic process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth workflow during events.
- Utilize creative and technical skills to compose shots and capture moments in a variety of settings and lighting conditions.
- Maintain professional behaviour and appearance at all times while representing our brand at events.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared and functional before each event to avoid any disruptions.
- Follow the company’s guidelines and standards for style and quality to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Provide immediate feedback and communication to the team during events to ensure all critical moments are captured.

**Qualifications**:

- Great storytelling through photography
- A keen eye for detail
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Punctuality and time management
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Quick-thinking problem solver
- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn
- Great team player
- Proven experience as a Photographer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing various photography styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro

**Experience**:

- Wedding photography experience
- Lifestyle photography experience (preferred but not required)

**Requirements**:

- **Camera Gear**:Professional camera gear (Full Frame DSLR, Prime Lenses, Speed light Flash)
- **Character**: Charismatic and outgoing yet professional with a responsible attitude
- **Travel Requirements**: The position involves covering various wedding events around the Barrie, Ontario area. Therefore, having your own reliable vehicle is required. Mileage reimbursement is available for travel exceeding 100 km one-way, ensuring you are compensated for extensive travel.
- **Physical Requirements**: This role demands physical stamina and resilience. You will be required to stand for long periods during events and carry your own camera equipment. The ability to maneuver and operate effectively in dynamic event settings is essential for capturing the perfect shots throughout the day.
