Retail Sales Associate/cashier

Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of technology sales is a plus
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) are a bonus

**Skills**:

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and stockroom
- Technical sales knowledge to assist customers with product selection

Collins Safety is a company which specializes in safety footwear and work clothing for more than 60 years.

We are looking for a mature sales associate, must be a quick learner with the ability to work independently. The position promises 30-40 hours, including some Saturday's. No evenings or Sundays required. Must possess valid driver's license.

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
