Tactical Security Guard

Winnipeg, Canada SRG Security Resource Group Inc. Full time

Reporting to the Branch Manager. The incumbent will provide direction and coordination to all designated security personnel and to ensure proper enforcement of all SRG policies and procedures and those requirements of the client. The **Tactical Security Guard** ensures all written and verbal information is communicated to staff.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- **Job Duties**:

- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Extended Foot Patrolling
- Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviors by the customers
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Maintaining assigned client site cell phone inventory, radios, keys for the area.
- Communicating effectively with the clients at all times if incident occur.
- Report emergencies to the Branch Manager immediately. Responding to all emergencies as required and take appropriate action.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned.

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- A valid Manitoba security license
- Class 5 license
- Prior 1 year Tactical experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Can stay alert at all times
- Can stand for a long period of time
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
- Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check

Schedule:

- 6-8 hours shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Shift:

- Evening and Night Shift**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

**Benefits**:

- Tactical Security Guard: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Manitoba Security License (required)
