**Location**: Calgary, AB (Downtown)

**Reports to**:Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform and manage production accounting activities across the organization.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and controlling production expenses.
- Generate reports for operational expenses and account variances.
- Adhere to accounting standards and procedures for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate audit process and reviews with Auditors.
- Perform account reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with Billing Manager to address billing inquiries and issues.
- Perform revenue analysis and ensure accounting activities are completed within deadlines.
- Maintain complete accounting documents for reference purposes.
- Generate account related reports to management and other product teams when needed.
- Execute the financial strategy of the company
- Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
- Maintaining and extending the financial relationship with vendors
- Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
- Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained
- Support the CEO/CFO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans
- Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
- Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required
- Travel and working with subsidiary companies of TEGI in monitoring and evaluating financial performances and providing recommendations.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

**Management Responsibilities**
- Working with Controller to maintain Tartan’s financial bookkeeping and auditing duties
- Working with Controller in aiding oversea office in merging all financial records and accounting system
- Working with Controller to Manage AR and AP and ensuring all accounts are up to date

**Experiences & Qualifications**
- Experience with Oil and Gas service-related field min 5-8 years
- CPA designation
- Bilingual, Proficient in English and Mandarin **(preferred)**
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft products, specifically Excel
- Advanced analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships based on trust and integrity
- Excellent understanding of financial management, accounting principles and internal controls
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning
- Ability to work well under pressure and to adhere strictly to set deadlines
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
