**Job description**
- Prepare surfaces (sand, scrap, fill holes/Imperfections, caulk)
- Seal knots and bleeding wood
- Mask windows, trims, doors, baseboards etc. for spraying
- Prime where required
- Cut in, paint with brush and roller
- Maintain clean job site
- Proper set up to protect surfaces from paint
- Although the job can be messy when sanding is required, and masking can be tedious, the best part is seeing the job come together and how good everything looks once its complete. Plus you get to do it with a friendly and fun team who likes to keep things positive and exciting.
- Hours of operation are Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
- Experiencer is an asset, but training can be provided to reliable, motivated employees who think they will be a good fit for our team. Training will be provided for all aspects of the job, as well as continuous guidance on how to improve skills throughout your career.
- To keep everyone safe during covid, we work at least 2m apart, and/or wear masks when that is not possible. Everyone is welcome to wear a mask whenever they feel it is necessary as well. Anyone with any symptoms are asked to stay home.

**Requirements**:

- Your own transportation
- Painting experience is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, motivated

- Wage: $16-$19 for little to no experience, $20-$22 for moderately experienced painters, there is a 3-6 month trail period where I will assess both your skills pertaining to the job itself as well as your ability to be a strong functional employee on our team.

It is through this evaluation that I will then decide if your wage should be adjusted based on your performance. - I am a working mom myself, and I understand how hard being a working parent can be, as such I try to be as flexible as I can with working hours around daycare restrictions. Some jobs are not as flexible, but whenever possible I will do my best to work with daycare/pre & after school care.
- We usually meet on site, or in a public parking area (for carpooling purposes) in the mornings. Once on site, we will discuss the plan for the day, assign everyone their duties, and then gather the materials & tools required for the task. If I am not staying on site, there will be someone to lead the group and answer any questions etc. I am also always reachable by phone.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $17.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
