**Job Description**:
**AECOM **is seeking a **Graduate Geochemist** to be based in **Burnaby, BC**, Canada

**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Work within a team of hydrogeologists, geologists, geochemists, and groundwater modellers on a wide variety of mining, major infrastructure, remediation and oil and gas opportunities.
- Implement hydrogeological and geochemcial investigations
- Evaluate geochemistry of solid phase (soil/waste rock/tailings), aqueous phase (inorganic/organic compounds), and stable/radioactive isotopes.
- Assist developing conceptual hydrogeological and geochemical models to support field program design and problem evaluation.
- Support development of contaminant transport models to support environmental impact assessments

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- B.Sc. in Geochemistry, Hydrogeology, Geology or related engineering discipline

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Interest in completing field investigations, travel, and able to adjust personal schedule to meet project needs.
- Experience with software packages such as gINT, AQTESOLV, ArcGIS, Surfer, Grapher, EQuIS, AquaChem, PHREEQC and Geochemist's Workbench.
- Knowledge of statistical and geostatistical methods including familiarity with statistical tools including Pro-UCL, R and others.
