Night Auditor

Hotel Rialto is a 58 rooms, family-friendly hotel centrally located in Victoria, steps from Government Street, Royal BC Museum and the Victoria Harbour. We are looking for a part-time Night Auditor to join our team.

The Night Auditor is responsible for meeting all guest needs while on duty. Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property as the sole employee on site, and using sound judgement in making decisions around suitability of guests checking in. Audit duties include checking front office accounting records for accuracy and, daily, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.

Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day. Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by guest agents.

Ensures proper security protocols are in place. Observes and reports all security issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver warm, friendly, and professional service to guests and team
- Responsible for guest check-ins, check-outs and other guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintains rooms inventory, reservations, and room assignments
- Report HK or Maintenance issues via appropriate channel (s)
- Manages charges to guest account
- Proper observance of security checklists, walk the building ensuring security and comfort of guests, report security issues to manager
- Prepares the reservations for the next business day, tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics
- Guest room deliveries as requested
- Ensure Front Desk area is tidy, organized, and presentable
- Assist with luggage, storage, package delivery
- Other duties as assigned
