Osint Investigator

**Investigative Risk Management** is a fast-growing national private investigation firm seeking a OSINT Investigator who will conduct desktop-based social media and background research as part of on-going WSIB, AB/BI, and asset investigations. We are looking for individuals who pride themselves on their information-finding abilities utilizing a variety of _open_ source resources.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- _Complete_ background/social media investigations with in-depth reports within tight timelines
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing when information that refutes a claim is found.
- Utilize various databases, including corporate registries, financial registries, and land registry independently.
- Work closely with OSINT Supervisor and other Case Managers as assigned with frequent updates on on-going files

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Social Media Investigation Certification or working towards certification
- Advanced computer skills
- Advanced understanding of Social Media Platforms
- An ability and desire to read, analyze, and distill large amounts of information from various sources and then utilize that information to further the investigation.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule _form_.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Knowledge of link analysis/data visualization

- Additional certification such as McAfee, Toddington, IntelTechniques (preferred)
